We have many years experience in the supply, fitting and refurbishment of traditional sash and casement windows and are able to replicate any window style or design.
All Artisans windows are made from good quality hardwood, fitted with superior ironmongery and draughtproofed. All our windows and door installations meet current government guidelines on energy efficiency and building regulations on glazing safety.
New windows are installed with three coats of micro–porous paint - the final coat is applied on fitting to ensure best finish - and they are fitted with insurance rated Rola locks/restrictors.
While the doors and we windows and doors we supply are double glazed in line with building regulations, single glazed units are available if maintenance and/or matching is required. We also have specialist experience in working with, and restoring, sashes hung on spiral balances.
We also offer a draughtproofing service for existing windows and doors at point of restoration or refurbishment. The benefits of draught proofing are many and include; reduction in heat loss and exterior noise, elimination of dust ingress, improved efficiency of sliding sashes, removal of sash rattle, and potential for reduction in energy consumption.
